Blades of Light and Shadow Fan VN

This is a short fan-made visual novel I created to get familiar with RenPy. It is set in the first book of Pixelberry Choices' Blades of Light and Shadow, and takes place between chapters 9 and 10 in the Deadwood just after the fight with the egovore.

To make things easier on myself, the game will assume you have all diamond-exclusive skills and weapons that were available so far in the game, and you will only be able to choose one weapon type.  All other skills will be ignored. You may also only choose one main love interest (sorry, but Aerin is not in this story since the princes have left the Deadwood at this point in the story) but you can still flirt with multiple party members. Choosing a main love interest is completely optional--you can play platonically as well and still have the same amount of content. Your chosen main love interest will just alter a few scenes or dialogues.

This is the first time I have created a visual novel, and is just a way for me to start learning RenPy, so it isn't super polished, but I tried to make it the best I could in the time I had available to work on it.  I created all the art and did the writing and coding. The music is by Pixelberry and the sound effects are from freesound.org. The art is a bit old and not up to my current standards, but this project is just a side project for me to learn how to use RenPy and make something for BoLaS. I tried to test for all bugs and spelling errors, but if I missed any that are preventing you from playing, please let me know and I'll do my best to fix them!
